Introduction

Hi everyone, today we are going to discuss the reasons behind your website's favicon not appearing when you add it to the homepage and how to resolve this issue.

How To Add Favicon On Your Home Screen And Your Blogger Website

If you use a blogger website, you can see the demo in the thumbnail when you add your website to your homepage because some theme default codes don't allow the favicon to display. Having said that, the favicon can now be added using simple codes.

How to Display the Favicon While Adding My Website to the Home Screen

The custom Favicon meta tag must be added to your blogger theme in order for your favicon to display correctly on the homepage. You can choose to remove your previous favicon meta tag if you'd like.

Download Your Code

This will download a code file that you can open in Keep Notes or Notepad.

Conditions

You must first choose an image to use as your website's favicon. You can use the Pixellab app or any other resizer to resize the image to the following sizes. Though it takes work, effort yields great rewards.

Utilize these sizes to resize your picture.

1. 57 × 57

2. 72 × 72

3. 76 × 71

4. 144 × 114

5. 114 × 114

6. 120 × 120

7. 152 × 152

8. 180 × 180

The 180x180 size, which is used as the home screen favicon, is the primary icon on your blog website. The 180x180 image link must be pasted into the x-, 180x180, and apple touch icons. Stated differently, one image link contained within three meta tags.

Guidelines for Creating Image Links:

Links for your eight photos can be created via a blog post. You can use the Google Keep Notes app or simply create a post and add all of your photos, then gather all of the links into a different notepad.

Proceed to create 8 images of the given size by resizing the images into 8 different sizes using Pixellab or any other .

You must now replace my image link with your own image link after I've given you the code file; otherwise, my favicon will appear on your website. Next, insert this code into the <head> section of your blogger theme and save it. Try adding your website to the homepage after clearing your browser's cache. Your homepage now displays your personalized favicon.

Take pleasure in it and tell your blogger friends about it!
